Heroes. You gotta love 'em. Well, at least I DO. Today, I want to share my top ten favorites from movies/tv shows/video games!
Note: This is not the order of Most Favorite, that would be far too hard to choose!
ROBIN HOOD

It's fitting to start with the one who is no doubt my first crush on the screen. And every time I watch this movie, it's obvious why. I LOVE his wit, his humor, his kindness! Ahhhh!!!!
Strengths: Ingenuity, frankness, wit.
Flaws/Weakness: Overconfidence, lolz.
LEGOLAS
From THE LORD OF THE RINGS
So when it comes to THE LORD OF THE RINGS it is literally full of the most amazing heroes, so just take your pick. But my pick has always been Legolas, and he firmly established my love of elves.
Strengths: Sharp-eyed, loyal, protective.
Flaws/Weakness: Will GET MAD if you insult his friends. (Is this really a flaw tho?)
SHANG
From MULAN
Another hero from my childhood! Honestly, MOST of the Disney "princes" do not impress me. But Shang does. Definitely. And no, it was not because he took off his shirt, lol. He had just had such development to his character, and while Mulan stands as a strong heroine, he stands as a strong example of a hero. One that is every bit as dedicated to his country and his family, willing to lay his life on the line.
Strengths: Leadership, determination.
Flaws/Weakness: Has to get over the prejudice against women that society built into him, but he does so. Also, is apparently really bad at talking to/complimenting women, but let's admit it, that is endearing.
EUGENE FITZHERBERT
From TANGLED
Flynn is charming, yes, but let's face it, he's a selfish thief. EUGENE is a much better person. His moment of self-sacrifice at the end of Tangled is probably one my favorite/most-shocking moments in any Disney movie.
Strengths: Humor, quick-thinking.
Flaws/Weakness: Was formally a selfish thief as said above. XD

Okay, so there a LOT of Links, and they're ALL LOVELY boys. My favorites are definitely Wild and Sky, but for this post, we shall go with Wild for this post.
Strengths: Courage (phhhht, obviously), dedication, a really good listener.
Flaws/Weakness: No apparent faults, unless you consider excessive silence a flaw.
ASHITAKA

So this lad is my most recent addition to the Favorites list, and he...ranks pretty darn high...I'm not sure I've seen a hero exhibit such impartial compassion and strength of character.
Strengths: Values life, controls anger within himself, unafraid of self-sacrifice, unflinching in his beliefs.
Flaws/Weakness: Ashitaka has no flaws. Ashitaka is the perfect man. If you think this in itself is a bad thing, you have not seen Ashitaka.
ZUKO
From AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER
Ah, Zuko. The greatest redemption arc in fiction. (No, I do not exaggerate.) Heck, I even liked him while he was a "villain" because you could still his true heroic character peeking out in moments. And then when he does embrace the Hero role, he shines like the sun.
Strengths: Determination, DETERMINATION, seeks honor, loyal, compassionate.
Flaws/Weakness: There is no doubt that Zuko is the most deeply flawed/most realistic person on this list. Pride, insecurity, anger, the list goes on. But seeing him grow into a better person is the best thing.
LEVIUS

Another recent addition to my favorites list! Who knew I would get into a story revolving around steampunk boxing??? The reason, friends, is this kind, quiet, gentle, and fierce young man. I seriously hope there is a second season, because I need more.
Strengths: Resilience, admires and learns from the strength of those around him.
Flaws/Weakness: His reckless, stubborn heroism leads him to risks that terrify his family/friends.
SHOTO TODOROKI
From MY HERO ACADEMIA
Me: He looks like Zuko.
Me: He has a tragic backstory like Zuko.
Me: He can use fire like Zuko.
Me: Yet............he is SO NOT ZUKO.
Strengths: Surprisingly emphatic and caring. Very observant. Incredibly calm under pressure.
Flaws/Weakness: He struggles with a perfectly reasonable bitterness and hatred toward his abusive father. Can try to take care of every problem himself without teamwork.
ZENO
From YONA OF THE DAWN
Once again, there is a great cast of guys in this show, and I really thought I had picked my favorite before this kid came late into the season. And it was really the OVAs and the manga that made me realize he was my ultimate favorite. Reasons why are huge spoilers, so just enjoy this lovely gif instead of an explanation. XD
Strengths: Humor, resilience, kindness.
Flaws/Weakness: Self-sacrifice to the point of unhealthy levels. This sweet thing just needs a hug.
