"There's something delicious about writing those first few words of a story. You can never quite tell where they will take you. Mine took me here..." -Miss Potter
Ever since I was young, I knew books held the special magic of telling stories. So before I could even read, I would open a book and make up a story for myself, knowing that those little scribbles on the page held that kind of power.
The tales and the characters I created were as dear to me as friends, giving me endless entertainment and always revealing secrets. As I grew older, the stories changed, but the magic never faded. And I learned that the telling of tales is not only an art, but a craft. From observing other masters (great authors from classic Tolkien to brilliant Stengl), I set out to become a author myself. For the joy of stories is best shared, and so I am pleased to share them with you, dear reader.
Do you love fairy tales? Celtic landscapes, fae courts, and unlikely love? If so, be sure to watch for the upcoming release of my novella Snow White retelling, Fairest Son. If elves, epic adventure, and battle against darkness is your style, keep an eye out for my series "King of Aselvia."
Here, I will chronicle my journey. And journeys are best taken with company, so expect several special guests--fellow authors, authors-to-be, and also artists! For I am believer in telling a story not only through words, but also with art. I highly lament the lack of art in novels these days, and I am determined to help bring it back.
May your path be blessed with star-filled nights and glorious dawns.
