Favorite Romances in Literature!

Happy Valentine's Day! I know, I know, I'm a day early, but tomorrow the winners for the coloring contest are announced so I figured I would do a Valentine post today!

Just the other day, someone put Keeva and Idris up on top of their favorite couples in literature! I can't begin to say how THRILLED I am how many people have connected to them. I'm really thankful for their romance, they basically wrote themselves.

Her post inspired me to make my own list of favorite couples in literature! So here we go! :D

Eugenides and Irene from The Queen’s Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. His determination to save her from herself and her insistence that he become the man and leader is meant to be is inspiring. They are far from perfect having a dark past and tempers, but their sweet resolution to conflict and surprising chemistry is too heart-warming.

Corlath and Harry from The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. A true definition of “power couple.” But rather than constantly fighting or making out as most “power couples” tend to do in most YA books (ew), these two have a relationship of respect and are never afraid to ask the other for help so they can be at their strongest.

Ella and Charlie from The Lady and the Lionheart by Joanne Biscof. don’t usually read historical romance but this is a rare exception. Charlie’s example of faith and love to broken-hearted Ella is so sweet.

Tanza and Auren from Out of the Tomb by Ashley Stangl. Tanza’s cynicism and Auren’s determined and noble innocence are a such a cute combination! They are too much fun to watch.

Eanrin and Imraldera from Tales of Goldstone Wood by Anne Elisabeth Stengl. Though sadly with an unresolved love story, they have undeniable chemistry and strong love and loyalty to each other. Someday I hope they are able to sort out their confused feelings for one another.

How about you, Fair Ones? Who are your favorite couples?
